Everyone seems to forget that when we had enforcers, bloody good ones at that, the refs kept slapping us with yellows and reds, and those in the media kept going on about how many red cards we had under Wenger! We were also called flat track bullies by some.
He then changed things up (mistake IMHO) and now they complain we don't challenge, have any enforcers!
They also ignore the fact that, as in the Villa game, refs allow the opposition to kick the **** out of us without a sniff of a yellow and when we put in a challenge, if they drop to the pitch, out come the cards!
If I were Wenger, I'd go back to playing the sort of no nonsense players he used to play in defence and midfield and sod the amount of cards we get. Buy enough players of that quality to compensate.
