Here's the kind of quality advice you would get:

1) If you are traveling through Arkansas DO NOT stay in Little Rock. It's a decent enough city, but not real exciting. For a real experience, dirt cheap, travel a bit out of your way to Hot Springs. Stay at the Arlington hotel and spa.

In the 30's/40's Hot Springs was that eras Las Vegas. Gambling, hookers, etc. Organized crime ruled. The Arlington was ground zero.

If you are going in Feb you'll get a room for less than $100 I reckon. Their spa are has an outdoor hot tub. The water comes directly from the spring, which I think exits the ground at about 100C !!

The National Park there is pretty cool, lots of scenery, etc.
