For the record, i like flamini, sensible signing. Wish it had been done a bit earlier.

What makes more sense, £15-£20m for Cabaye or sign Flamini to cover while Arteta is injured and use the money on other areas?

Once Arteta is fit you'd have Cabaye sitting on the bench. Flamini will provide decent cover and is more defensive minded than Cabaye so the midfield will be more balanced with him in it anyway.

I think we are agreeing. He wasnt intending to buy any midfielders at all and is only bringing in a guy on a free because arteta is injured.
