There should be a ban on speculation imo

should begin with the assumption that Wenger is right about absolutely everything. To do anything else would be presumptious, arrogant and illogical.

that he's almost certainly right. Disagreeing should be a last resort. Right now, it is people's starting point, which is utterly mental.

About transfers.

It isnt his money and he doesnt write the cheques. In every other respect he is perhaps the best manager in the world.

There is strong evidence that he is, what with him finishing above every club bar three year after year, with a smaller budget.

Which is why I'm so excited about what he might do with a big budget. I'm still excited by the Suarez bid, even if we didn't quite manage to close that one.

and paid stupid wages to players who were never worth it.

This summer has seen us left with a very small squad and only 12 days to try to sort it out..... we had a large tfr kitty at the start of the summer and were in a perfect position to make a statement by buying quality players early. We didn't do that and now we are left in the sorry position of trying to get last minute deals done.

Even less so if he is so wonderful in every other respect.

The more you blow his trumpet for him the greater exposure you bring to the feelings that perhaps we should be doing a bit better.
