There used to be a football club there...

We're hell-bent on pursuing a flawed footballing vision at every level of the club and instead we come over as being cheap, greedy, arrogant, faintly absurd and small-time. The Arsenal should represent the best and only the best of what football can be and mean, where did that idea go?

Clubs no longer fear us - they're amused by us or, worse, pity us:

Presumably Stan sees them as some sort of symbolic gesture to Old England. This situation hasn't just developed it has come about over years while the shareholders were squabbling amongst themselves over how to divide up their holdings.

Wenger and his influence on club policy from top to bottom is now deeply corrosive. It is beyond a joke that we're struggling to get a team together on Wednesday for arguably the most important match of our season.

It truly beggars belief....

the board is just happy that way. Otherwise, they sell shares occasionally.

It is funny how easy Fabregas, VP, Nasri and co were prised away from us and we can't even close a deal for players with half their talent.
It is obvious that Wenger has to go now. We need someone with a different and fresh approach to go forward.

sort of like the huge bonus clause in our club's player contracts for winning the CL or the title. Oh.

Even if we survive these two games and make a couple of signings will things be any different from the last two years? Do we look a player or two away from challenging the top 3 or winning the CL?
A domestic trophy might paper over the cracks but everybody knows that is no measure of true potential.

If these stories are true then it's about more than Wenger, the whole club needs a major overhaul and who is the man there to do that? Unless Stan changes his habit of a lifetime and gets directly involved instead of leaving it to others, then only a change of ownership will do.

and a new Board. They share responsibility by neglect, which in my book is the greater failing.

The chain of command is unclear.
Wenger has too much power. and when he goes, no directorship either, out of the Club altogether.
Time for the new broom.
