I stated a couple of years ago when he first joined Newcastle that he looked like a player Wenger would fancy at the club. That being said, with Arteta on the shelf, if Arsenal could get anywhere near the contributions the former Everton star has provided the Gunners then AFC will be in good shape. All is not lost on Match 1 of the year but progression into the Champions League is imperative. Need to get some reinforcements for the domestic competitions and win some type of hardware this year.
