so why not just go in with a higher realistic offer that shows that they mean business?
It's looking like Gareth Barry at the last minute followed by the old excuse that ... we tried to sign players but ,blah blah blah...

Agreed.

Master stroke all the same from Ivan going public with us dripping in gold.

Shambles isn't it.

Of a man who had absolutely no intention of spending any money or was deliberately making it more difficult.

Nobody listened, but i did say

That's why Stan employs Wenger and pays him 7.5m a year.

from Le Boss!

Everyman and his dog can see what a complete and utter mess that the £7.5M per year manager has put this once great club into....
No wonder Wenger has stayed "loyal" to Arsenal....no other club would pay a man that much money for an under performing team...without putting pressure on the manager....

So glad I jacked in my season ticket....I just knew the £100M spending spree that was promised this summer was just spin to get the poor Arsenal season ticket holders to renew....

I didn't believe it either. Well I did for a few minutes. But the more I read it I knew it was bull.

Sure he has been moving the goal posts every season.

Last year was supposed to be the year we spent big. Now it's this year.
