Serious Question. Is Willian not a top, top player. Would he not improve us?

That's my problem. I just don't understand why these players aren't good enough for us. I understand why we will bnever get them as AW would have been in offering a combined 10 mill for the everton pair.

Or why not 70 million, split how you like for Michu Fellaini, Williams and Baines

I do agree that left wing is a position which could be hugely improved, but there are plenty of reasons not to go for Willian (and numerous other players).

How is Willian's temperament, for a start? Wenger is known to be very demanding when it how it comes to his players' behavior off the pitch. Willian is known for not having learned any Ukrainian, bringing over his entourage of Brazilian friends and enclosing himself in a mini Brazilian enclave with them. There are plenty of reasons why he might not be interested.


And no-one is questioning our need for reinforcements in numerous positions, I don't get why you feel the need to make that point.
