Taking the whole "buy some players" scenario out of it for a moment but I'd guess ourselves and maybe Fulham only suffer so badly from a referee at home games.ZERO intimidation,barely a sigh when a decision goes against us,half-hearted don't know what you're doings.
I can guarantee you Saturday would not have happened at Old Trafford,White Hart Lane etc etc.

the reality is that having seen it on MOTD from the refs angle then it is understandable why he gave it. Its one of those pens you get most of the time. In fact if it was reversed and it was theo being tackled we would have been livid if he didn't give it. Yes with slowmo and freeze frame and shearer's nonsense anti-arsenal explanation there was probably a case for saying it wasn't a pen. However from the ref's perspective at full speed it is easy to understand why he gave it. We can't blame the ref for that one.

sometimes, when the team aren't performing the players need the support of their fans to lift them. Other times the players need to give the fans something to shout about. It is a give and take.

I think this relationship has been deteriorating for a few years.
