View Full Version : Having watched the replays of the two penalty incidents

it seems to me that the first one was an obvious penalty,if it had been at our end we would have expected one,and the second one was a 50-50. Sometimes they are given and other times waved away.
Nether penalty was the massive blunder on the ref's part that some are trying to claim that they were, in a futile attempt to try and excuse the horror show from our players. Ramsey top class ? You can't be serious.
Wenger still keeps banging on about the 10 match unbeaten run at the end of last season. As I recall it though we got more than our fair share of dodgy calls in our favour during that run off referees and their assistants . Some you win: some you lose. C'est la vie.

The fact that it was not a penalty, despite Shearer's inane justification, made it all the worse.
Still does not cover how poor the team were though.

For a remarkable decision. Without the replay I doubt anyone wouldn't have given it. Except nic who has to find any excuse for that c**t Wenger. I see he hasnt mentioned the way villa walked through a midfield devoid of any dm because Wenger deemed that position non important.
