It's quite sad that it's been allowed to get this far. Hard to understand how the club have allowed another summer to drift like this.

that we were now on a financial platform where we could afford anybody.

Not a new face to be seen and we lose rather convincingly on the opening day at home.

Amazing how the 'genius' think!

I love Arsene Wenger, but something does not pass the smell test when absolutely no improvements have been made to the squad (well, Squillaci, Chamakh, Bendtner, etc., gone is a plus). But, play the dadgum guys you are paying top dollar for - they've been away from the game for 2 1/2 months - save for the friendlies - I think they can take a short airplane trip for Wednesday to Turkey for the #6 UEFA ranked Gunners to take on #47 Fenerbahce (of course Aston Villa was #76).
