I've supported him for years, but this squad is far too weak.

We need that strengthened more than a super-signing.

The team is as strong as its weakest link. Therefore no cover at CH is more important than having a Suarez to replace Olly.

Likewise the keeper. £10-15m on a decent keeper would be of more use than £40m on a forward.

We would have won with a proper keeper, we'd still have lost with Suarez (even if he wasn't banned.)

GG replaced the great John Lukic with Spunky, breaking his transfer record (and the UK goalie transfer record.)

Yet we've had Almunia and the poles for years since Jens went.

Player departures largely couldn't be helped. Dodgy signings, well he has been trying to find £10million players that will end up being world class and that isn't easy.
