I'm sorry, but I happen to think Arteta is a very good player, I have ALWAYS admired him, ever since he came to the PL and played for Everton. You may like DeanWhitehead for instance. Different tastes, "maaan". :-)

Which has made him the only really good option for a holding role. We've have made no additions that can support him and give us more options in that role. The writing was on the wall when he was forced to start at Newcastle in May carrying an injury (lasted 20 mins). Painful to watch Wenger doing this to the squad.
