All well and good targeting Rooney or Suarez but these have to be long shot punts for any club.
We should have bracketed those two players as best case scenario and gone after the more realistic targets at around 18-25m.
Someone has had a shocker at the club and misread this one terribly. Our entire transfer strategy is now based on a last minute scramble and dependent upon whoever sets off the domino chain first.
