Now just two more weeks of ridiculous rooney speculation and then, finally, this irritating summer is over and done with.

the most embarrassing things in our history. This Gazidiz maybe an hotshot in the marketing merchandise game ,but he's shown himself to be completely inept when it comes to dealing with buying and selling players. His 40m and a quid bid showed him up for the clown that he is.
Suarez will soon be making disparaging comments about Arsenal to curry favour with the scousers. The whole affair was a complete farce .

Therevis a tiny suspicion we are being played with. I dont actually believe it but it is hard to completely write it off.

When a player like Higuain signs for someone else they then let it be known that we were never in for him anyway :-)

Not a bad day's panic shopping, all things considered. :-)

Big Per I think we got lucky with him. The problem with him, as with all late buys, is that he had no time to settle so was always going to struggle in his first season.

Buying Park was like speculating that Crystal Palace will win the league.

I doubt that loan cost us very much.

Time to sttle is different from a bad buy. Always likely when you buy late, which is precisely the problem this summer. We have left it too late to make significant improvements for this year so the season is doomed to another chase fr distant fourth.
