When really we are facing a financial dunkirk. Of course they couldnt actually say that we are skint and will have to make do with fourth for five years or so. That wouldnt help the situation.

The club have never tried to hard to dissuade the public and the fans from blaming the individual players forbtheir greed and impatience.

Adebayor was the best example. What a deal that was, yet we allowed himto be painted as the arsehole. I am not saying he isnt an arsehole, you understand.

We managed to take the money and blame the player. Then blame other players and clubs for the fact that we couldnt spend the money.

Which is why i am suprised that our spin department have had such a noghtmare this summer. We have been masters of the conjuring trick for years but are now trying to play it on the front foot.

Still frustrating, but understandable. If thy are still bull****ting us now, they ae not doing such a good job of it. If they are not bull****ting us then something is badly wrong upstairs. Far more worrying.
