Here's my take on things imo:
We do have cash and loads of it
Arsene originally wanted Higuain and few others but saw the opportunity to snare Suarez
He took that route
Unfortunately the layout for Suarez means we won't have that much cash left
Hence the reason the Gustavo deal went busto...
Suspect Liverpool have privately agreed to let Suarez join Arsenal
But only after they find a suitable replacement
Meanwhile they launch a hate campaign vs Suarez creating the illusion of its all Suarez...bad apple....ungrateful fecker so the fans accept the move to Arsenal and his new replacement
And that's the current state of play IMO....as soon as Liverpool find a replacement, Suarez will be ours for around £55m...a fee so high that its stopped us from getting Ashley Williams, Gustavo and Bernard!!
