because we dither and fanny about and try to screw players and clubs to get the best possible deal and we can't make up our minds about whether we want the player or only if we don't get someone else ...then someone else just steps in, does the deal and the player is gone.

we made a good run towards the end of the season but clearly we need a defender, defensive midfielder and striker, all top players if we want to compete at the top of the league.

There is an argument to say that if, for whatever reason, we aren't able to secure any top quality players, we're better off sticking with what we've got.

If there is indeed a problem, that is the crux of it - there simply aren't many players around who could improve us.

We have 4 defenders fit for the next 2 weeks. very important games, not only for confidence but also getting into the CL.

We just about scraped fourth, all our rivals have strnthenged,

If we have money, there is no point in it staying in the bank, we need to spend it on top players or wel get left behind...
