I'm a big fan of bands like Orbital, the Chemical Brothers, Kraftwerk etc. So I think some electronic acts do stand the test of time.

John Foxx, Cabaret Voltaire etc etc and you can call yourself a fan of real electronic music ;-)

I have watched all of the others (Chemical Bros are more my generation anyway) but thinking about the logistics of how those guys went about making electronica with the most basic synths etc is hugely impressive. They've created some timeless music with them.

limitless compared to when I were a lad. Although there was a frisson of joy in spending hours hunting through vinyl in record shops. Fwiw I think the Chemicals are excellent, although their early stuff is far better than their later imho.
