Let me understand this , we were signing Higuen but decided to duck him because Suarez agent told Ivan that bid 40mil + and the clause comes into effect and the man is yours , trouble was the clause was utter bollox , jesus christ , what an almighty f**k up , its amateur night , so who the f**k we going to buy now , Adebayor is available ??

Do t think we've ever had a scenario where a sides chances were completely destroyed because of a £1 joke.

*** u Ivan

Gave up all our targets because of a gamble over £1.....Arsenal really excelled excelled themselves here....

Very good - pushing Wenger (who was exactly the right man for the job then, just as he is exactly the wrong man now); negotiating contracts; getting the deals through

Very bad - the Bond scheme at Highbury, pushing for us to hire Wembley as our new home

On the fence - Red and White Holdings/Usmanov. Not ideal, but a million times better than Silent Stan

2+2 doesn't actually equal 6 as you seem to think

but not that of Kroenke. The reason we are in the position to put pressure on Liverpool to sign a top player like Suarez is because of how the club has been run, surely the major shareholder has some part to play in that, no?

"Putting pressure on" is not the same as signing. A miss (which it could very well be) is as good as a mile. It is Silent Stan's ethos using Wenger as his human shield which has left Arsenal so ill-equipped to deal effectively in the transfer market when other clubs, even Tottenham, can do so effortlessly.
