we didn't have the van, so we were using my wifes old car, which meant for a short period of time, the 9 and 12 year old had to sit closer together... that was fun :hehe: amazing what a couple inches sitting closer together can do :hehe:

If so, be very careful going around the outside curves. I wasn't paying too much attention at one spot and as I went around, this great big f**k-off dump truck came into view as we were half way in the turn.

To this very day I still recall that incident in my mind and wonder how the f**k we didn't hit. My Mrs was already screaming as well.

Other than that, you'll have a fantastic time. The drive on PH1 is a real thrill.

I once lived in San Diego. I often called it 'America's best secret'...you'll see why ;-)
