I am worried that we are placing all our eggs in one obnoxious, racist basket.

So far we have shipped out around 30 players. I would rather have seen us sign 5-6 players that would improve our depth and weak positions, than one extremely expensive player.

Is the need to signal ambition more important than actual ambition?

I was actually happy with the players Wenger signed when we didn't have a lot of money (Podolski, Cazorla, Giroud that is, not Chamakh, Santos and Park).

Or, it could just be that the thought of Suarez playing for Arsenal makes me sick to the stomach.
