On today's lunatic prices for top players Suarez is obviously worth 50m or so . Just as Higuain was worth 32m using Cavani for a benchmark.

All players are judged on their performances. Torres might have done better with us than at Chelsea.
If so then the 50m would not have mattered. If he flopped then of course it would be a different matter. Same with any player whatever they cost,£10m for Gervinho looks now like a big mistake.
