Better to get a kick up the Arse(excuse the pun) when it doesn't matter.
My only issue is that we do need a bit of quality, if for no other reason than to lift the squad. My concern is that I'm not sure the club know how to go about it, we can say we will do it the right way & as admirable as that is when the majority of football is run by sleaze balls I'm afraid you need to know how to play it to succeed.

Some would say he has been a bigger loss than many of the player sales.

Malz, Stepenovs, Mendez-Rodriguez, Wreh but he has signed an awful lot of good ones too.

Unfortunately the ratio of quality to **** has gone down. The new stadium is a factor, so is the shift in moneied clubs. One of the biggest factors is that Wenger can no longer go out and unearth a gem. Not because he has lost the ability to do it, but because all the other clubs are copying him and making it harder for him to do it.

Rosicky fits the same mold. don't need to be in the first XI, but can come in at key times with experience and calm for a few matches to keep the squad strong. not enough of those in the squad at the moment imo
