The development of Wilshere, Ox and theo is stuck in neutral and mertesaker is still awful. Kos, Cazorla and Giroud are the only players worth a **** on this squad. Why AW thinks this team will magically become a force is just ignorant. He's turned arsenal into a small fry with less talent than teams like Napoli and Gala. Five years ago we'd have raped those teams.

So I await the usual suspect c**ts telling me I don't know **** about football, its only preseason and this club has a chance at something other than nicking 4th again.

Say what you want about Gervinho but he never went missing in games. He was able to constantly get on the ball and make things happen. As you probably know it's quite common for both Podolski and Walcott to get completely shut out for entire games playing the same role.

If no replacement comes in that position then we're truly fcuked.

for improvement. It would be almost impossible for anyone to contribute less than those two did last year. Not a great deal else to get excited about though. Another long fight for 4th, and many tales of who we 'almost' signed await.

unfortunately he was neither composed enough nor was he refined enough to ever show it.

We know everything about them. Jack could have a blinding injury free season, theo too. Or both could be constantly sidelined. Diaby could come back and have astorming second half of the season. Vermaelen could trun into a beast of a defender who doesnt make mistkes. The ox could geta run of games.

None of it amounts to much when youbalance them out. We know where we are weak and we havent resolved it. If we did well last season then the best wecan realistically hope for is same again.

And to be fair, that is going to have to be ok for now.
