Fab is just too poor (or lacks the required confidence for this level).
These are all things we knew before the game.
Additional thought: Jack really needs some one behind him to hold. His game (thrusting forward, trying to beat his man, etc.) is fine for the so called "box to box" position, but as the one in front of the back four, just too dangerous as he loses the ball occasionally...
Otherwise, important to remember that this is only the pre-season. A different team with Arteta, Santi, Theo/Ox in the side, obviously.
