View Full Version : Hopefully we'll win, but things could get very ugly if Napoli hammer us....

In some ways they're the Italian Arsenal right now. Good footballing team, capable of beating ANYONE on their day, but slightly unpredictable and used to selling their best player(s) and having to rebuild quickly.

We can turn them over, but if they're fresher than us and in the mood they could hit four or five...

Aside from Reina and Higuain, they have other major names like Hamsik, Albiol, Pandev, Inler, Maggio, Mertens, Cannavaro and the dynamic Colombian wing-backs Zuņiga and Armero who caused so many problems when he played against us with Udinese.

Because we haven't signed anyone yet, then that's their problem.

The club knows we want them to spend, and the players need to know we are behind them and start off the season in buoyant fashion.

I was thinking more about the reaction if they absolutely hammered us. On a good day Napoli are capable of that against any opposition.

A 4-1 or 5-1 defeat with Higuain scoring would wind a lot of people up...

Personally I think it's more likely to be a draw, but who knows?
