It is just another tool available to the umpires - not the panacea for all bad umpiring.

No excuse for that as the sound was clearly the bad hitting the pad.

The replays made this completely obvious but the 3rd ump gave it out. Either incompetent or match fixing.

Still not as bad a decision as that goal that the referee gave in the Championship game when the ball clearly went out for a goal kick!

technology sort it out. if the ump had not given that then it would have stayed not out.

the batsman used to get the benefit of the doubt, now the umpire does.
