South is all local authority estates. North is the lively, noisy Camden Town. Some nice residential streets to the northwest, and east has more traffic.

most peculiar people you're ever likely to see. It is called the Purple Turtle, iirc.

But there is also Koko :-D

intercourse against the wall. Just in board daylight, cars driving past etc.

I assume the police came eventually.

I have a plan for some interactive fiction revivalism based on London locations.

worked fantastically.

Though one of the band members started asking the crowd for spare ear plugs. It was so bloody hot in there with this weather.

I quite liked Automatic but there were just so many other nights to go to on a Friday

where it was cool by the bar.

It was so warm and sweaty in there I had spots coming out on my face during the short time there. But I liked it there.

On the plus side it's not quite Camden.

It actually says Camden on my passport, what a sad, tragic indie kid I am

most of them have gone now, the Somers Town Coffee House and Eastnor Castle are still going strong I think.

which is the borough.

I think you mean Camden Town (some of the locals get most upset if you mix the two up in my experience)

I'm sure back in your peak it was probably quite interesting.

Now it's largely a selection of 'iPood' novelty t-shirts, tourists and 14 year old emos.

And that's just the daytime.

Altho I live closer to Euston than M.Crescent I have to say I really can't fault it. Never had any trouble. I can walk into places like Oxford Street very easily but also escape to Regent's Park or Hampstead Heath with ease. Also loads of shops on Camden High Street or King's Cross for local shopping.

The only problem is dog ****. It's everywhere. All the c**ts from Somers Town own little yappy dogs that **** everywhere and the c**ts never clean it up.

That's another cabbie place. Ideal for a breakfast after falling out of the Dolphin Tavern late at night.

cab drivers are remarkably interesting people, especially the ones who've been at it a while. Longest memories in London.

Much rather spend the day/night in Whitechapel, Upper st, Stokey, etc etc.

Camden has died a death imo.

The idea that Stoke Newington is now a place where people go out amuses me massively.

I also need to check out if that Nepalese Restaurant on Eversholt Street does a good take away curry.

should one be inclined to be negative.

There is still interesting stuff to be found in the area, as well as epicentres of c**titude.

Twat Cuddles

does fascinate me. I always see LOADS of people with pints outside of it and crammed inside it's tiny footprint. What's so good about it, I don't understand why it's so popular?

Jake

Then again I work there, so I would say that.
