When I take a quick snap of a dish it looks great.

How can they get it so wrong?

disclaimer I am not the type to take photo of my dinner in a restaurant. Unless I am abroad and it's a novelty food like a big burger or something.

it tends to be an expensive meal and I tend to enjoy it greatly...but then 2 months on I can't remember what I had.
Now I have the menu pic on my phone and I can look at it and salivate on the train home from work. So I can enjoy the experience over and over again.
Strangely the 1 dish I remember best is the one I have no menu pic of. And it's just duck and duck fat triple fried chips. It was ace and easy to remember.

And many sites/menus are not easily viewable on a phone.

If not, I urge you to do so. There is some quite remarkable meat on offer.

The Porterhouse for two is splendid. Essential sides include roast bone marrow, anchovy hollandaise and creamed spinach. :eat:

You won't get much change from £120 for two at the Hawksmoor.
