Torres will struggle in any team that doesn't play long ball. So that rules him out for us.

If we lose out on the mentioned (we shouldn't go any higher than £40m+1pound for Suarez IMO) then i'd be happy enough with Podolski moving to a more central role as an 'internal solution' if at the same time we do pursue Bernard for a wider role.

But as I've been saying or priority should lie in getting a big-******* CMer and Fellaini ticks all the boxes IMO. GK Cesar too would be a welcome addition
