they've been banging on about doing something for summer party that the team will do for ages. They couldn't arrange a date where everyone is free. So they've found one date in September. Which is on a sunday which I am not really happy about but that's a different matter.
They said all along the company is paying for a certain amount for each person.
today we get the announcement saying ok we are going to be doing this certain activity it's £30 each and we are paying for your lunch so we'll be around to collect the money soon.
Will I look like a complete tosser if I moan about it. I can afford it easilly but I am not happy to spend £30 for this. £30 is £30 i live on a strict budget to allow super saving but £30 could be well spent else where imo. I can get 6 packs of dodgy cigarettes for that.
Think the amount of cold meats I could buy.
Problem is it's for our 'team' who are very small in number and everybody is going.
