Big super flash offices in London, closed user group of top grade ****ers who in turn were bulk users of CRO products.

My attendance was solely due to the fact that 2-3 others could not attend, and my attendance was solely to request on behalf of my organisation that we could receive our daily data by ftp instead of an actual tape by courier (late 90s remember).

Having done my bit imagine my horror when the chair thanked me for my question and asked if I could "for the benefit of the other members, perhaps you could explain what ftp means and how it works".
