To try and win the title...united have been doing crazy deals for years, like RIo and Veron e.t.c. If this deal does go through it answers a lot of questions on the clubs ambition imo...fair play to them on giving it a go, even though they're outgunned financially ....The fact that he's a c**t in everyone's eyes doesn't bother me much either as all the top players dive nowadays...25 years ago the bite would not have been taken so serious....and remember this club has employed imprisoned captains and jaw breaking midfielders before too :shrug:
