they waited for the deals to be done. They wanted the deals definitely in place. They needed concrete deals. As for the RvP thing it is utterly irrelevant to the situation - for one thing it wasn't just a matter of money :shrug:

A risky practise perhaps but fairly minimal in our situation, they would have known those deals had more than a good chance of paying out.
Just positing the notion that had we have been a bit more bold a year a go, things would possibly have turned out differently.
