But - in the cold light of day - it seems an extremely fair offer given his ability and all the baggage that comes with it. Don't blame Liverpool for wanting to keep him and drive a hard bargain but I think they would be a bit mad not to accept this offer given the aforementioned baggage and the fact he wants out. If that's what they decide to do though, I'd be inclined to pull out and go back in for Higuain. I feel like this is probably our best and final offer.
