there somewhere. You don't bid £40,000,001 for no reason. Liverpool will probably resist for a bit, Suarez will probably kick up a fuss. I'm quite confident on this one.

The weird amount we've bid has to mean there's something in his contract to do with bidding over £40m.

people could claim it means he can leave for anything over that figure, Liverpool say otherwise. Either way we wouldn't bid that without being given reason to by someone connected to Suarez. It's too random to be anything other than that.
