I've rarely seen a West End theatre audience react to a show with the enthusiasm of a football crowd. Uplifting, engaging and downright hilarious.

wd bom fellas.

It's almost affectionate, really.

It was really rather good. Have you seen the whole lot yet?

It's a bit like the West Wing with balls.

Very slickly done, I thought and Spacey is great. Not sure about the journalist gal - she might need to up her game

physically incapable of enjoying it.

Intellectual snobbery is a burden sometimes, but one must be consistent. :-(

I like the Mormon response of using it as a marketing ploy.

"You've seen the play, now read the book".

Pissed in the Savoy with a fascinating Southern Gentleman who spoke like Foghorn Leghorn. Marvellous evening.

I made cassoulet yesterday. It was almost perfect, but in my concern not to underseason such a mass of beans, I managed to over-season it a little. Just a tad, but enough to be irritating.

basically just a load of beans. I know the southern French go mental for it, but I've never understood why you'd want to eat something so leaden in the heat of a southern French summer.

I'm going to have to turn my back on you now. I'm sorry about this.

Beans to me are just an inferior substitute for potatoes or other carbohydrates.

You disaparage the beans? The delicious, creamy beans?
