UPDATE: (11.07.2013): It appears that although GEMA may be responsible for up to 61% of the top 1000 YouTube videos being blocked in Germany, the cricket wasn’t down to them. It looks as though yet another German law, within the Broadcasting Treaty Amendment (§ 20) is responsible. This time to prevent pirate TV stations, the law has blocked YouTube from streaming the cricket. Any “broadcast” in Germany with over 500 viewers needs a special (expensive) license, lest a heavy fine is implemented. As each YouTube live stream can be described under the law as a separate channel, you can possibly imagine how expensive this would be to manage.
