Looks like we are seeing more and more of this snowball effect.
With ffp and the boytoy clubs it seems like one transfer sparks 3 or 4 more
Cavani to psg - higuain to napoli - suarez to real - torres to liverpool
Rooney to chelsea, just speculations but it could well happen.
Since Arsenal didnt do the biz. early we could end up getting no one
(you can also add a cesc to united on my chain)

I never liked the summer transfer window,it is too long
Why not just make it a month (june 1st to july 1st)
Have all the players signed and ready for pre-season

Sorry for the long reply just fed up with all these rumours.

bad window for us to have a big warchest

Wenger, who has remained in close contact with Fabregas since the player’s departure from the Emirates, admitted Arsenal are on “alert” because of a buy-back clause inserted when the Spain international rejoined boyhood club Barca two years ago.

Wenger said: “At the moment, Fabregas has decided to stay one more year at Barcelona.

“We have the clause in the contract so we would be on alert but at the moment that’s not something we’re after.”

There's nothing we can do about that. We cannot force them to sign for us and we also cannot stop their agents reading Twitter or talking to each other or various club officials.

show that our instinctive caution is canny and deserving of praise. up the wenger. now to get some obscure brazilian for 8m, and we're good. be more upset if we didn't get a midfielder/dm/cb type.

Regarding Fabregas, in my view it would be a step backwards to resign him. We have Jack to build a team around now and that is the direction in which we should be going.
So far Wenger has failed to sign any of the top players though that Jack and others suggested that we need.
No big surprise there ,just par for the course , talk is cheap and if they handed out medals for it then Ivan and co would have a chest full of them.

Now, to me, this clearly suggests that we are not talking about forking out for 30 million strikers.

Clever fellow, that Ivan. We're lucky to have him.

By the way Mr.Knowall I never suggested that we should sign the Argie,Jack did though.
Anyway keep on talking up Ivan - you are on a winner there :-)

any more about transfers than they can find out on Twitter.
