I was paying a grand a month for my last place in Finsbury Park, and that was a one bedroom place with a tiny garden. Settling down and having kids was on the agenda so it was either somewhere further out or sod the whole thing off.

Also, I'd never lived anywhere but in the centre of town so I wanted a proper change.
