makes it sound better.

But for me it's like putting a blind fold on in a strip club.

any truth to this?
Also I see the band wearing earplugs too. Now this makes sense as they are exposed to this on a daily basis. However when somebody sings with headphones on they usually sound out of tune. How do they adjust to this?

The closest I got was when I saw Shanks and Bigfoot singing in a Brentwood nightclub

there like a plank. I observe the musicians as Ashberto told me to do.

I always like to find a wall or something I can lean on.

I have tried both. Leaping about is more fun.

Especially the stadium/festival end of the market. The music is generally ****e, in comparison to the actual recordings anyway, and the modern gig experience is not only expensive but it's entirely soul destroying.

I think 200 people is about the upper limit of what's actually enjoyable, unless you're in a fantastic venue like the astoria or the palace, which dont hold a great deal more anyway.

He is sooooooo good live that the albums actually suffer a little in comparison. You become a little deflated by the albums and before long only the live experience will do.

That is how people end up seeing him 90 times.

I dont think there are any rules on live shows. Some bands are great live, some are ****e. Stick a good one anywhere and they will put on a show.

Have people pushing and shoving into you, then a 2 mile queue at the bar or the bogs, when you could sit at home and pop the CD on

they are playing. You can't judge the first time you hear something if you like it properly.

Get on with it.

If the doors open at 7pm and they don't go on until 10 I am way pas any interest by then.

And for the big gigs it's a whole day affair. I think I was at the emirates for about 12 hours for this Green day concert.

I've been to a few famous, renowned gigs. I swear I mustve been watching a different show

The Cure, for instance, were one of the most intensely dull acts I've ever had the misfortune of seeing, even despite the fact I was utterly destroyed.

That said, the ratio is usually fairly accurate.

That said, I also saw god, yaweh, buddah and vishnu that night and ended up naked in the christian tent so my cognitive faculties may have been slightly impaired at certain points.
