Seeing as Cesc has always declared he wants to stay at Barcelona and may well now start getting his chances to play regularly as Xavi and the rest get older, I don't think trading first refusal on him would be such a bad thing. He doesn't want to come back to England. But for Rooney? That fat impetuous scouser that will cost us £200,000 a week to watch Cazorla and Jack run rings around?? No thanks.
