we just carry on getting the ESPN channels and the new BT sport channels.......I assumed it was the same gig with Virgin

For the "new" ESPN and BT Sport, it's £12 per month, or £15 per month for HD. They can stick that. Cancelling Sky all together imo

Us Sky users will have our ESPN subs cancelled with Sky but transferred to BT at the end of the month unless we tell them to get lost (cancel it).

Then BT will charge us the earth unless we have BT broadband when they will let us have ESPN for free (well technically free, as there's always some claw back somewhere else).

I don't really like ESPN's coverage but BT might be better may give it a trial.
