This happens a lot in the NHS. #ITK The corruption and abuse of public funds is terrifying, and could never happen in the private sector.

I know of someone who was recruited as a software tester for one such project. He had no testing experience (the agency persuaded him that he could do it), they weren't ready for him to start because there was nothing to test, so they asked him to stay at home on full pay for months just so they could have someone available straight away when there was some testing to do. He was on about 800 a day
