Arsenal have made an offer for Dinamo Zagreb whizkid Alen Halilovic.

Halilovic and Dinamo teammate Tin Jedvaj has seen a bid of ¤21.5 million from Tottenham accepted by Dinamo.

Defender Jedvaj has said 'yes' to the move, but Halilovic is yet to respond as he spends his summer break with his parents.

In the meantime, local media sources say Arsenal have come in with a bid of ¤16 million for midfielder Halilovic, regarded as a bigger talent at the same age as Real Madrid ace Luka Modric

And the next thing you know the same papers are full of rumours about us sticking in huge bids for all and sundry. And these bids dont seem to e leading anywhere.

I wonder how this could possibly happen.

Doubt we will sign more than 2 or 3 of them and would imagine that we are not even remotely interested in half of them.

Rumours coming to nothing means nothing...that is my point.
