as its only 2 miles from us and seen its rave reviews in trip advisor , but GF didnt fancy eating there as it was pretty standard scampi, burger type fare, the beer was good but the place has old fashioned non gastro pub feel...bit nothingy ...bare type feel , not overtly nice imo..but it does get good reviews so eitherr the locals all do it or I mi9ssed som,ething but i'd not rush back..

:hehe: plus it has signs outside saying Bands on friday..pub quiz tuesday...maybe he will love it tbh as the inside reminded me a bit of an old peoples home in its decor and menu was from the 70's... but maybe ive jsut fallen too much foodie type pubs
