Personally, I've never been put off a woman simply because she has a boyfriend or husband. It's hardly my place to make that sort of judgment on her behalf, is it? :shrug:

make a point of mentioning the boyfriend/ Partner in such a way as to infer you were chatting them up or about to chat them up.
