for Wenger and now Paul Davis isn't too convinced about Higuain.

I know this is a game of opinions but why give the media more negativity, don't they already provide enough without our own giving them more ammunition?

BMW slashing their R&D budget in half, as a former employee, would you give a dishonest opinion just to toe the party line? I don't think there's anything wrong with what they have said tbh

not a budget or tactical decision.

I really can't recall Arsenal players in the past coming out against players that have been linked with the club, especially highly rated players, can you?

I for one think he might have a point. Do you think Rooney would be motivated and fully committed were we to sign him?

I could easily see Rooney just coasting along, collecting his wages and growing fat and indolent. What is there left for him to win in England?

Now for the remarks of being Chairman...that is just ludicrous.

Hardly uncommon. And let's look at those scathing Adams comments

"I'm not sure Wayne Rooney could handle London, to be completely honest. That would be a massive risk, for me

"I don't think it's a question of finances. I think it's his temperament and mentality. London is a different animal. I think it takes a different type of player [to handle it].

"I think Wayne is unquestionably a super player and I'd love to see him at the Arsenal. Technically he's a fantastic player but I'm not sure about him mentally, off the pitch and his professionalism."

Totally about the player - not a single criticism of the club, just an honest critique of why a player such as Rooney would find it different in London

saying Wenger is wrong in trying to buy him, if Wenger is indeed trying to buy him

Just my opinion, you obviously think I am wrong

Arteta and Per, which I am sure most would agree they have not been failures

contributed largely to our terrible first half of the season, and that spending the money on a more ready-made defender was what a club like Arsenal with title ambitions really needed
