Rooney is underrated in this country IMO. Because he didn't turn out to be as good as Pele and looks like a potato everyone thinks he's ****.

Play him up front in our system and he'd score plenty. But as we're signing the Argie I assume he'll be up front. So Wayne would be playing wide left.

He'd do well for us, no doubt, but I suspect the circus would put Veng off him. On the other hand, perhaps now we're a "big club" that's the direction we will inevitably have to increasingly take.
